Electrical Grade PTFE Tape, also known as Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), is a synthetic fluoropolymer that is frequently used in a variety of fields and applications. They are a perfect alternative for applications needing high operating temperatures and chemical resistance because they offer outstanding chemical and mechanical qualities. The long synthetic polymer known as PTFE sellotape is used to seal the joint without hardening it by acting as a lubricant and pliable filler. Instead, the lubricating quality facilitates tightness. It protects against physical harm and fosters interaction between the two thread segments.
Moreover, it supports the seal lock and prevents connection leakage. This series is appropriate for use in less important wire and cable applications due to its electrical characteristics. The two most significant properties of this tape are its hydrophobicity and exceptionally low friction.

Characteristics
- The whole spectrum of twelve colours—Red, Black, Yellow, Grey, Orange, Brown, Violet, White, Green, Blue, and Pink—is used in the manufacturing of electrical grade unsintered Electrical Grade PTFE tape.
- The tape is offered in a variety of widths starting at 10mm (0.39") and going up to and including 0.25mm (0.010) in nominal thickness.
- -200°C to +260°C operating temperature range
- The tape must come on cores that are cylindrical and have an internal diameter of 76mm.
- The tape width will determine the roll diameter, which must be between 100 and 250 millimetres wide.

The tape shall be supplied on cylindrical cores having an internal diameter of 76mm.The roll diameter shall be depends on tape width and it shall be minimum 100mm and maximum 250mm.
